Hope and Healing might have been able to save Amanda's baby. 

Even now, Hope and Healing can still help Amanda, and millions of women and men like her who are filled with grief over past abortions. 

What is Hope and Healing? It's a new 12-page newspaper insert. It is an outstanding, low-cost way to educate the public about the dangers of abortion and the emotional aftermath. At the same time it is a compassionate outreach tool to promote post-abortion healing. 

For a limited time only, we can participate in a matching grant program that will allow us to bring Hope and Healing to the (people or students) of (city or university) at far less than the normal cost. 

Consider how this would have helped Amanda, and many girls like her. 

You see, Amanda was an 18-year-old college student when she became pregnant. Although she wanted to keep her baby, her boyfriend insisted she abort. When she turned to her mother for help, Amanda was told she would be kicked out of the house if she had the baby. 

I can't help but believe that if Amanda had received a copy of Hope and Healing before her abortion, she would have been better prepared to resist their demands to abort. 

Clearly, Amanda's boyfriend and her mother didn't care about her moral beliefs. But if Amanda had been able to show them the facts about how abortion would hurt her, they may have backed off. Surely, if they truly loved her at all, Hope and Healing would have helped them to see they needed to be supportive of her love for her baby. 

We can't be sure of what "might have happened" in Amanda's case, but we know what will happen if we succeed in getting Hope and Healing into the hands of (our target audience, the people/students of ....). 

• Abortion rates will drop;
• New clients, like Amanda, will be attracted to participate in our post-abortion ministries;
• The abortion debate will be changed forever as the people of (our city) begin to understand the terrible cost of this terrible decision.

There are hundreds of thousands of people like Amanda (on our college campuses.) This age group is at high risk. They are more likely (a) to seek abortions or (b) to have already had abortions. 

So it's no surprise that when Hope and Healing was distributed during new student week at the University of Illinois, the response was overwhelming! 

Many students wanted to talk with volunteers about their own experience with abortion. Some simply wanted to share their stories with an understanding listener. Many others wanted to know how they could help friends or relatives who were struggling with a past abortion. 

For some, Hope and Healing was their crucial first step on the path to desperately-needed healing. It was the first time they ever felt that pro-lifers truly cared about them, even after having had abortions.

To participate in this matching grant program, we need to raise $XXXX during the next sixty days. This will allow us to distribute XXXX copies of Hope and Healing to XXXX homes, where each copy will be seen by one, two, three, or even more people. 

This appeal is going out to only xxx active donors. To raise $XXXX, we need two donors to give $1,000; five to give $500; 30 to give $100; xxx to give $50; and xxx to give $25 or more.
